Inspired by sparking creative and strategic rigor, I thrive when leading cross-functional teams to generate ideas and drive towards solutions. I am a product manager and design strategist with hands-on experiences in applying agile and human-centered approach throughout full product development lifecycle. I enjoy creating innovative products and meaningful experiences that can positively change people’s everyday life.
As a product lead, I developed product vision and roadmap, product requirements, KPI's, and metrics based on the business/organization objectives. I conducted user research in both quantitative and qualitative ways, and created personas and journey maps to inform decision making. During the development process, I partner with designers and engineers using an agile approach to ensure that customer feedback is considered in each iteration from prototype to MVP to the final go-to-market.
In my strategist role, I drove sustainable growth by harnessing research, business strategy, organizational change, and Design Thinking to define problems well enough so that they can be addressed through specific changes. My focus is on helping the clients disrupt their industries by figuring out what's meaningful to their customers, employees, and markets. I'm passionate about tackling hard business problems through research, strategy, design, and technology.
My personal story is that I spent my early career as a marketing professional helping companies develop and execute strategies for communications, branding, and business development. But something always felt missing, and one day, I realized that there was more to innovation than creating eye-catching commercials or campaigns to promote a product. People have their authentic needs that are yet fully addressed. In 2012, I decided to go on the MBA journey with a focus on strategy and innovation. Bringing my experiences in customer insights and strategic planning, I found my way into the product + design innovation field.
I am a global citizen who has footprints across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. You might find me walking Jazz, my Boston Terrier boy, in the beautiful neighborhoods in San Francisco, or bump into me in a meetup event jamming the next one million dollar idea.
